1. I think stellar time can definitely be seen on twitter. I never really used twitter before this but I find myself going on it more and more often as I use it more. Sometimes just to check other peoples statuses even if it’s not relevant to me, or just to give a 160 character update to my own status. Sometimes when I read the status updates it’s just like for fun, like reading a magazine or something, but other times it causes me to go out of what I was planning to do to do something else. I remember in particular one of my peer update was about having some food and after reading I had the craving for it so badly that I decided to go out to Chinatown to pick some up. It was definitely worth the travel at the moment though. I think how twitter might affect someone is if what the update was relevant or not to what they might. If it was someone completely irrelevant to my life, I would just read it to read it. But if it’s something I can relate to or understand it’ll probably affect me more.
2. In 1001 nights, I think all different time are presented. I thought it was interesting how sometimes you can just put stories within stories and that you can just copy and paste one story and put it before or after another and it can be like this story and then within that story another story happens, so when I was choosing three stories I copied them into a word document and notice how although the three stories I chose were out of order they somehow made sense and connect to each other. With that, it was hard to remember which event happened in which story because then all the stories got mixed together in a sense. In the story of THE FISHERMAN AND THE JINNI, we can see examples of stellar time because in the story one event affected another. Each time when the fisherman cast the net and didn’t catch a fish he was determined to cast it again until he can go home with something to sell. And every action that the fisherman took affected the outcome. And when the Jinni showed up, if the fisherman was not wised about his actions, he could’ve died. Therefore every event that happened affected what is to come.
3. I’m not sure if 1001 nights would be consider a very popular read in modern Islamic countries. A lot of the stories in 1001 nights touch upon morals and very religious. And these stories are told from a woman who is very knowledgeable being able to weave together all these stories. The role of women in modern Islamic is very inferior. They are not allowed to show their faces and must wears veils which shows that they don’t have much rights or not as important as men are consider to be. This literature 1001 nights is the story of a woman telling all these great stories which shows she has very deep understanding and experience in life, but I don’t think that would be accepted in modern Islamic countries.

I agree with you about how we tend to be silent readers when it comes to people we don't really know but are still interested in. This is especially true when we're talking about celebrity tweets.
"Treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers." From the last sermon of Prophet Mohammed. That is true Ahmad. When we read about orrors that happen to women is certain muslim countries we are taken by anger and we tend to judge that every muslim country treat women like this. But it is not alwys true. And I agree with you! Also about the women covering their head.I did some research:For example, one translation of the meaning of the specific ayat (verse)of Qur'an that mentions the head covering is as follows: Surah 24 Al-Nur (The Light); ayat 31 (part of) And say to the believing women.that they should draw their head-coverings over the neck opening (of their dresses) , and not display their ornaments except to their husbands, their fathers.(etc). This guidance she regards, as by definition a Muslim should do, as being revealed by the 'All-Knowing' the 'Most Wise', The 'Most Merciful', 'All-Mighty' God who created all human beings and whose Power controls everything. She is doing it because she believes that God with His nature knows best what is in the true best interests of human beings, far more than a human can know, with his or her fallibility, and weaknesses.
The main principle reason for the hijab is modesty, which is not wishing to receive unnecessary attention from people, such as admiration and flattery, envy, or, most importantly, sexual attraction from those other than her husband.Great care is taken to keep sexual thoughts, feelings and interactions to within the boundaries of the marital relationship.
I understand religion is important but people women included need to be free and choose weather or not cover their head.Unfortunately when religion is interpreted and used by certain fanatics it becomes a problem. In Italy a Moroccan man killed his daughter because she refused to wear the hijab at school.Religion should be a free choice. When imposed it becomes tyranny.Have you considered also this side?
I feel that some of the stories in 1001 nights would be well received by the Islamic countries today. Although you're right that the stories are told from a woman and thereby proving that the woman is knowledgable, many of the stories degrade women. Some stories consist of violence towards them and also depict the typical image that the man is the ruler of the family.
